Pete for America Lettering

In 2019 I was asked to create a set of hand lettered state placards as promotional materials for support groups within Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 US presidential campaign. The goal of the project was to give fair wages to the small businesses and freelancers of America. I was tasked with assigning a lettering style to represent specific states or territories that were then drawn by hand and made digital for everyone to access.
